Taking it to the late 80's/early 90's with this entry. This is one of the moments in Hip Hop where afrocentricity lived, where abstract, open minded lyricism flourished over jazz influenced beats! This is when Hip Hop was fun!

Dedicating this one to the Minnesota Sound

Yeah, that's right Minneapolis brought you one of the sexiest men (that wore heels) in the 80's (oddly enough), Prince! So this blog is dedicated to the Minnesota sound of the late 70's/80's all ranging from Morris Day and The Time to Alexander O'Neal. So let's end this long ass week the right way!
