This is the first entry featuring Whodini's "One Love." We have all experienced this in one point or time in our lives...
Now this one is for those that know what it is like to catch your loved one out with another person...this video is only Oran "Juice" Jones, "Rain"...This chick looked like a hot mess at the end of the video, but was looking fly (for 1986 standards that is) before she was caught out there with the other dude in the "Rain"..."I gave you things you couldn't even pronounce...You without me is like cornflakes without the milk..."...check out this next video from the original OJ...lol
Now this joint, is that New Jack Swing flava...Guy's "Groove Me"...one of my favorite New Jack Swing songs...to all my NY cats that have checked out the Freedom Fridays party at StarFoods, (now at Canal Room), this is a party favorite of mine...this reminds me of good times...

Old School Hip-Hop and R&B Blog - Take One
This blog is dedicated to music...Hip-Hop and R&B that is...
Man, when I was younger, I remember taking my parents lil' boombox and stealing their Bobby Brown "Don't Be Cruel" tape and jammin' to it! LOL. And for all my folks in NYC, I remember the video music show, Hot Tracks and of course the lengendary Ralph McDaniel's show, Video Music Box on Ch. 25 (public access that is).
I have tapes and tapes of videos from Video Music Box and the 900 request show called, The Box and I have yet to be able to put that on DVD because of the time intensiveness of it all...but Youtube came along and solved all of that!
So the purpose of this blog is to post Old School Videos and allow you to reminince on the good times...this is for my 25 and up to remember and anyone younger this is a Video Music History lesson before videos were all about money, cars and hoes...ya feel me??
